Cemetery notes and/or description:
Henry Resh arrived from Germany in 1748 and acquired large tracts of land in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in an area known today as Leacock Township. He started a family cemetery on this site shortly after his arrival and after land was given for the church it was expanded and surrounded by a stone wall to become the Weavertown Amish-Mennonite Cemetery as it is known today. It continues to serve as an active cemetery for these families.
