      Ebenezer Lee was wounded in the hand at the battle of Bunker Hill. He was a sergeant and received a pension under the act of 1818. He joined the methodist church at Fulton, NY and believed in universal salvation. He retained a very youthful appearance, his hair being but slightly frosted.He was medium in size, high broad forehead, prominent over the eyes, rather large nose, clear bright blue eyes, very straight and light of step, had a wonderful sense or order, carried a cane under his arm, and was a yankee in the best sense of the word.

      Ebenezer Lee, Jr., marched to the relief of Boston and was wounded in the hand at Bunker Hill. He was sergeant in Capt. Judah Alden's company,1777, for duty in New York. [p.223]. He was born at Farmington, Conn.,1757, and a pensioner when he died, 1837, at Granby, Oswego county, N. Y.

      Note: Ebenezer Jr. was a soldier in the Revolutionary War in Captain Noadiah Hooker's Company of Farmington and served some time in 1775-1776 in and around Boston. He was wounded in the hand at the battle of BunkerHill. Afterwards he enlisted for the war and served to the close. He held the rank of Sergeant; a large share of his service being spent in the vicinity of New York, Long Island, and New Jersey. He received a pensionunder the Act of 1818. Some years after the war, he removed to Pennsylvania and from there to Granby, Oswego County, New York. A descendant says of him: A man of medium size, high, broad forehead,prominent over the eyes, rather large nose, clear, bright blue eyes, verystraight and light of step, had a wonderful sense of order and was aYankee in the best sense of the word. He joined the Methodist Church at Fulton, New York not many years before he died and believed in universalsalvation.       I find that at least six served as soldiers in the French war. I have what I consider a very well authenticated list of sixteen who served in the Revolutionary war.       EBENEZER, JR., son of Dr. Ebenezer 15, and Abigail (Bull) Lee, born Jan.7, 1757, married, first, May 14, 1786, Martha Parsons, of Scotch descent, born April 23, 1758. She died Dec. 17, 1828. He married, second, Anna Hyde, Sept. 18, 1836. He was a soldier of the Revolutionary War--was first in Capt.
