    A small, colourful Fraktur birth record (Geburtschein) for Isaac Eby. The text, framed in a red and yellow border, reads: 'Isaac Eby ist Geboren den 30 ten July im Jahr Anno. 1808.' The name is in green, red , black and brown, while the rest of the German text is done in red only. The record is embellished with black scroll work. The initials of the Fraktur artist are in red, in the calligraphy of the second 'A' in Isaac, however they cannot be made out.     A Bible with a dark brown leather cover with brass and leather clasps. The inside front cover has three different inscriptions: "Isaac Eby's Bible" written in pencil; in blue ink and in different handwriting "Property of George C. Eby / 409 Mill St. / Kitchener" and in pencil "Foster Eby/ Gen. Del. Baden, Ont." The first front endpage has Isaac Eby' s signature in black ink. The full title is: Biblia, das ist: Die ganze heilige schrift des alten und neuen Testaments nach der deutschen Uebersezung D. Martin Luthers; mit eines jeden Capitels furzen Summarien, auch bengefugten vielen aufs neue berichtigen parallelen, und 40 vortrefflichen bildlichen Vorstellungen verfehen. It was published in Philadelphia by Rimber and Scharpless Bookseller. There is a printed Familien Register between the Old and New Testaments.
