  • Notes
    • I HAVE NO PROOF THAT THIS IS THE SON OF WILLIAM HORD AND NANCY GIBBONS. ONE OF HIS ANCESTORS WAS FOUND AND TRACED BACK TO WILLIAM AND CATHERINE. I FOUND SEVERAL FAMILY TREES IN ANCESTRY THAT SAY HE IS THE SON OF WILLIAM AND NANCY BUT NONE OF THESE TREES HAVE SOURCES.

REVEREND HARRIS DOES STATE THAT WILLIAM AND CATHERINE HAD A SON NAMED WILLIAM BUT GAVE HIS DATE OF BIRTH AS 1807 AND DEATH 1841. HE WAS FOUND IN THE NEW PROVIDENCE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH CEMETERY IN HAWKINS COUNTY, TENNESSEE.

UNTIL I FIND PROOF OF THIS WILLIAM, I WILL LEAVE HIM HERE.

IF ANYONE CAN SHED SOME LIGHT ON WILLIAM, PLEASE CONTACT ME AT bernie@techline.com
