- Mrs. Martha Ann Hord, daughter of the late Mr. Cliff Webster and Mrs. Margaret Coakley Webster, was born February 8, 1887, in Taylor County and departed this life at 4:30 p.m. (CST) Monday, December 11, 1972, at her home on Route 3 in Greensburg. She was 85 years of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Taylor's Chapel Methodist Church at the time of her death. She united in marriage to Mr. Hulet Hord July 13, 1917, and he preceded her in death December 14, 1970. To this union were born two sons and one daughter. Surviving is Mrs. Marie Hord Bloyd, Greensburg. Charles R. Hord preceded his mother in death August 26, 1968, and Earl C. Hord preceded his mother in death May 3, 1972. Mrs. Hord is also survived by one brother: George Webster, Michigan; four grandchildren: Mrs. Patsy Montgomery and Bobby Bloyd, both of Greensburg; Charles Richard Hord, Jr. and Allen Henry Hord, both of Louisville. Funeral services were at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home at 2 p.m. (CST) Wednesday, December 13, 1972, with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Rev. Gene Weddle officiated. Pallbearers: Thomas Bloyd, Willie Ray Shipp, Glenwood Shipp, Richard Shipp, Henry Webster, and Lawrence Webster.
