    • Henry Lindsay, 13th Earl of Crawford was born after 1557.1 He was the son of David Lindsay, 10th Earl of Crawford and Margaret Bethune.1 He married, firstly, Helen Chisholm, daughter of James Chisholm and Jean Drummond, before 26 July 1586.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Shaw, daughter of Sir James Shaw of Sauchie and Marjory Kirkcaldy, on 2 December 1599.1 He died in 1623 at Finhaven Castle, Angus, Scotland.1 He was buried at Finhave Castle Church, Angus, Scotland.1
      Henry Lindsay, 13th Earl of Crawford was also known as Henry Charteris.1 He held the office of Master of the Household to Anne of Denmark, Queen Consort.1 He and John Charteris were adopted on 25 September 1584 ratified by Act of Parliament on 20 September 1587.1 He succeeded to the title of 13th Earl of Crawford [S., 1398] in June 1620.1
