He first married Sarah Feb. 17, 1673, and married Elizabeth for his second wife. His children at Wallingford, were Elizabeth, b. Oct. 15, 1673; William, Jr., b. July 23, 1675; Sarah, b. About 1743, the above Caleb and Lois removed to Farmington, (in that part of the town now Bristol,) where the following children are recorded, viz: Giles, b. Dec. 3, 1744; Waite, b. Dec. 16, 1745; Caleb, Jr., b. April 8, 1748, d. 1751 ; Lois, b. April 10, 1750, m. William ?~?; Ann, b. March 15, 1754; Mary, b. , m. Daniel Bacon, Oct. 24, 1765; Caleb, d. 1759. His son John was executor of his will. The foregoing are the ancestors of those of the name, at Harwinton, Torringford, Washington, Woodbury, Bridgeport, and other towns in Connecticut. As imperfect as the foregoing list is, it may aid them in perfecting a full roll of their ancestors. Four of the name had graduated at Yale College, before 1851.
