      Marie Eby
      NAPLES, Fla. - Alice Marie Eby, 90, formerly of Matthews, Mo., died Jan. 14, 2005, in Naples.
      Born Sept. 19, 1914, in Springfield, Ark., daughter of the late Ernest Thomas and Myra Miller Bird, she was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church and active member of the Extension Club in Missouri. An avid antique collector, she also had a love for music and was a talented pianist.
      On Aug. 21, 1940, she married Loyd William Eby who preceded her in death.
      Survivors include; one son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Stephanie Eby of Naples; and one stepdaughter, Alyce Faye Mabrey of O'Fallon, Mo.
      She was also preceded in death by one stepson, Charles Eby, five sisters and four brothers.
      Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, Mo., where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. William "Bill" Koch, senior pastor of First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, will officiate.
      Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
