      James Eby
      WHITEWATER - James A. Eby, 92, died at 10:50 a.m. June 26, 2004, at the Lu theran Home in Cape Girardeau.
      Born Nov. 30, 1911, in New Madrid County, son of Elmer Enoch and Viola A nn McFadden Eby, he was a retired self-employed farmer and member of the G eneral Baptist Church in Chaffee.
      On July 4, 1941, at La Forge, he married Vida Taylor who survives of the h ome.
      Other survivors include: one son, Mike "Al" Eby of Whitewater; one daugh ter, Sue Traw of Chaffee; one sister, Helen Fields of Decatur, Ill.; a nd three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
      Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
      Visitation begins at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Cha ffee.
      Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Union Park Cemet ery in Chaffee with the Rev. Watis Harrell officiating.
      Pallbearers will be: Mike Eby II, Bryan Traw, Alan Ikerman, Dennis Dola n, Mike Fields and James Reitzel.
