      Isaac S. Eby, 88, of 992 Lancaster Ave., New Holland, died Friday, April 1, 2005 at his home.

      Born in Brecknock Twp., he was the son of the late Enos and Esther Shirk Eby.

      During World War II, Isaac served in a Civilian Public Service camp at Sideling Hill, PA.

      Isaac was a farmer, retiring in 1980 and a member of the Old Order Wenger Mennonite Church, Dayton, VA.

      Surviving is a sister, Rhoda Stauffer of Port Trevorton, a brother Ezra Eby of New Holland, two sisters-in-law, Emma Eby and Mary Ella Eby, both of New Holland, and a sister Lydia married to Ray Bauman, Terre Hill.

      He was preceded in death by two brothers: Henry and Eli and a sister, Sarah Eby.

      His funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 8:45 AM at his late home with further services a 9:30 AM at the Weaverland Mennonite Church with Bishop Marion Wenger officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday (TODAY) at his late home from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. Kindly omit flowers. The Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill, is in charge of arrangements.
