Eby, 77, of Terre Hill, died Thursday of natural causes at Ephrata Community Hospital. He was the husband of Emma E.Zeiset Eby. They observed their 50th anniversary in November. Born In Earl Township, he was the son of the late Enos J. and Esther Shirk Eby. A farmer, he was a member of Martindale Old Order Mennonite Church. Surviving besides his wife are four sons: John H., husband of Karen Good Eby of East Earl; Leon Z., husband of Elsie Zimmerman Eby of Ephrata; and Edward Z.,husband of Erma Zimmerman Eby; and Mark Z., husband of Lucy Zimmerman Eby both of New Holland; three daughters, Sarah E. of Ephrata,Jane E.,wife of Steve Hartzler of Ephrata; and Susie Z. wife of Ray L. Weaver of Lebanon; and 24 grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Isaac S. and Ezra, husband of Ada Zimmerman Eby, both of New Holland; and two sisters, Rhoda, wife of Daniel Stauffer of Port Treverton; and Lydia, wife of Ray Bauman of New Holland.
