Were Married Saturday.
Miss Darlene Crane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Crane of Tama,Iowa, and Mr. Robert S. Hawkins of Chillicothe were married Saturday,
Nov. 16, at 4:30 in the afternoon at the home of Rev. L. Earl Snyder, pastor of the First Methodist Church at Trenton.
The couple was attended by Miss Doris Mart of Melcher, Iowa, and Jay Moody of Chillicothe. Mrs. Anna S. Hawkins, mother of the groom,
was the only other guest present.
After a week-end spent at the country home of Mr. and Mrs. D. D.Mart of Melcher, Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins will return to Chillicothe,
where both are students at the Chillicothe Business College. Mrs. Hawkins was one of the attendants to the Queen of the Iowa
float in the recent C. B. C. Homecoming parade. Mr. Hawkins was employed as a clerk in the Federal Better Housing Commission last
spring and is now nearing the completion of his business course at the
college.
