      I Hardin Deatherage do make this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making Void all other by me at any time made.
      First I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my executor.
      Secondly I give and bequeath to my wife Rebecca Deatherage the home farm as willed to her by her father James Jolly deceased. All the household and kitchen furniture all of the farming tools of every description the growing crop I may have in cultivation myself on all my lands my waggon and gearing blacksmith tools and also all mechanical tools and what provisions and grain may be on hand at my death and as much of the Stock of all kinds as She may wish to keep and at her death Whatever may be left of it to be equally divided between her following named Children Viz Mary A. Durham Nancy Guffee Sarah Ann Williams and Henderson Deatherage.
      Thirdly it is my wish and bequest that my Son Henderson Deatherage before any division of personal property be made as named in the preceding Clause, be allowed to keep the Horse I have given him and also alike amount of other property and money as have been advanced to the other above named heirs then the remaindexr be equally divided among the above named heirs.
      Fourthly Whenever there can be a sale or division made of the Lands Willed by James Jolly to the heirs of the said Rebecca Deatherage then its my wish that my lands and all money that may be in the hands of my executors be divided equally amongst my above named Children Viz Mary A Durham Nancy Guffee Sarah Ann Williams and Henderson Deatherage.
      Lastly its my request that the heirs Select an executor to this my last Will and Testament and if my wife Should need anything more at anytime than I have provided for her in this Will, that he administer to her necessities out of any moneys he may have on hand and also provide for Wm Jolly and see that he is cared for as provided in the will of his Father and if Sale or division is made of the Lands Whoever may get that portion Owned by me Contribute Equal with the balance for his Support.
      In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand this 20 day of April 1874.
