  Dieter Eby Newman (121) Durss Aebi's age is based on the 1672 Census. It states, "Thoers Abi 60, wife Margaret Steiner 62, 4 children and married." The earliest known records found for Durss Aebi were found in StAb, Affoltern im Emmemthal Church Book, on 17 Mar 1733 and in the StAb, Sumiswald Church Book, on 20 April 1643, when it appeared as Tauf Zeugen. The last known record of Durss Aebi was found at StAB, Raths Manual der Stadt Bern, and is dated 26 May 1684.
