    • Name:(Moses Bernethy) Location 2: (737 E Minnehaha) Business Name:(St P & D R R) Occupation: (switchman) Year:(1890, 1891) City: (St. Paul) State:(MN) This was found in St Paul, MN directory for 1889-1891

Information that was sent to us by Dan Bernethy has a paper with sworn testimony from Rachel Calvin and Elizabeth Washburn that states his DOB was 13 Jan 1850. I know Nancy Conrad and probably others feel it was 27 Nov 1849 but I have the original data and it is definately 15 Jan 1850.

Tim also talked to Eldeen who said Moses died when his son George (her father who was Moses' son) was 17 years old. That would make Moses' death at approximately 1918.

I also have a Guardians Declaration for Minor Childrens Army Pension and it states, again his DOB was 15 Jan 1850. This request was made by William R Brown. He lived in Indian Creek Township, Pulaski County in Indiana. I am not sure how he is related to this family.
With his parents both dead, William R Brown filed for pension on behalf of the children and took them into his care.
