Myrl Stanton Eby, 90, of Brownsville died August 20 at his home.
He was born in Fraser, Idaho, to Charles and Effie Eby, and married Frances L. Boyce on March 11, 1937. Mr. Eby worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard from 1938 to 1945 and later built and operated a grocery store in Erlands Point. He also worked for many years in the lumber business, managing the Simpson wholesale warehouse in Shelton, and also owning and operating his own lumberyard, Easy Sales, Inc., in Tumwater. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing with his family, camping and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of Brownsville; son, Jerry Eby (Sheri) of Kennewick; daughter, Judy Bigelow (Steve) of Brownsville; grandchildren, Chrystal, Chad, Casey, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Heidi and Andy; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Service: No formal service will be held. Memorial donations: Central Kitsap School Unicycle Program.
