      Death Calls Jesse L. Eby

      Victim of Acute Appendicitis. Was native of Clearwater County

      Jesse Eby, a farmer of the Fraser section of Clearwater County, passed away at the Orofino hospital Thursday Feb. 15, following an emergency operation for acute appendicitis.
      Deceased was born at Fraser July 15, 1898 and died at the age of 41 years and 7 months. During his active life he farmed at Fraser, except for eight years spent in Longview, Wash. In 1919 he was united in marriage at Fraser to Viola Thornton. To this union three children were born, Mrs. Lazetta Cochrell, Schmidt's Mill; Robert and Helen who reside at the family home.

      Besides his wife and children Mr. Eby is survived by his father, Chas. Eby, Fraser; two brothers, Arnold and Earl, and a half brother, Myrl Eby, all of Longview, Washington; and a sister, Mrs., Zan Jordan, Orofino.

      Funeral services were conducted at the Orofino Christian church at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Grant Cole officiating. Interment was made in the Fraser cemetery. George Blake was in charge of the arrangements.
