- Hulet Henry Hord, age 79, son of the late Mr. John Richard Hord and Mrs. Fannie Blakley Hord, was born July 22, 1891 in Taylor County in the Shiloh Community and departed this life at 3:15 a.m. Monday, December 14, at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church at the time of his death. He united in marriage to Miss Martha Ann Webster September 13, 1917, who survives. To this union were born two sons and one daughter. Surviving are: Earl Hord, Illinois and Mrs. Haskel (Marie) Bloyd, Greensburg. Charles Hord preceded his father in death August 26, 1968. Mr. Hord is also survived by one sister; Mrs. Mae Maupin, Florida and four grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Rev. Gene Weddle officiated. Pallbearers were: Dick Shipp, Glenwood Shipp, Ray Shipp, Thomas Bloyd, Harlan Moss and Calvin Durrett.
