- 04 Aug 2014:
Description: The change is to Adella Artemisia (Dudley) Snow, my great grandmother. First there is no 'r'. in her first name - it was just 'Adella.' Next, happilyl, she lived to be 92 and died in 1951. She waited just long enough for me to see her (and vice-versa) once or twice - I was six, so I remember only seeing her face, she sat up straight, and I thought she was very nice. I have her rocking chair sitting here in my living room. I through descended her daughter Erma Snow Ferguson and her daughter, my mother, Muriel Ferguson Champlin. I have some pictures of her and her descendants on my computer and can send them to you, if you would like. It's a somewhat new concept to me - putting anything personal out there.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this - what is your source for the information on Martin Snow. I have looked for evidence of his birth and to William Snow and Lucretia Porter. It's the one weak link iin my chain. I can reason it out through census data, watching how many children are included from 1798 through 1830 for William. I haven't figured out where it is cited on your website, although I've only just started to look.
