My g grandfather was Julian Rockett Abernathy son of Sterling and his second wife Agnes Minerva Webb Craven.
My grandfather Hosea B. Abernathy was the oldest of 12 children whose parents were Julian Abernathy and Loula Martin.

We are cousins also through Julian Rockett Abernathy, son of Sterling Gibb Abernethy and 2nd. wife Agnes Minerva Webb Craven.My grandfather Hosea B. Abernathy was the eldest son of Julian and Loula(they had 12 children).My mother Sophia Louise Abernathy was Hosea and Margaret Abernathy's only child.
John Ware Abernethy was of Sterling's first marriage with Elizabeth Caroline Ware. I have pictures of their gravestones in Ricks Cemetery (Sterling, Elizabeth,Agnes and her first husband G.W. Craven). I would be interested in any history of the first family and pictures you might be willing to share with me.
I did not know any history till I recently started on the computer.
Vickie Bickle is my cousin being she is the grandaughter of my grandfather's sister Mamie.
