  The Daily Herald - publication date 4 Dec. 1899 - Delphos, Ohio. FORMER DELPHOSIAN _________________ Remaines of Lewis Timmons will be brought here. Lewis Timmons died Saturday night at his home in Spencerville, after a prolonged illness from a complication of diseases. Deceased was 62 years old, and moved to Spencerville from Delphos 5 years ago. He lived here a number of years and was employed by C. Scherger & Sons. The funeral will be held from the home Tuesday morning and the remains brought to Delphos on the 10:55 train. Burial in the West Side Cemetery. The Daily Herald - publication date 5 Dec. 1899 - Delphos, Ohio. The memorial over the remains of Lewis Timmons was held at his late home in Spencerville, this morning, conducted by Rev. Cook, paster of the M. E. Church, and the remains were brought to Delphos over the C., H. & D. The cortege at once moved to the West Side Cemetery, where interment was made.
