    • Obituary for Isaac K. EbyIsaac K. Eby, 77, of Ephrata, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, April 28, 2008, at Ephrata Community Hospital. He died peacefully following a recent diagnosis of cancer.Born in Terre Hill, he was a son of the late Aaron B. and Edna Sensenig Eby. He was the husband of Janet L. Lynch Eby. They celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on October 1, 2007.Isaac was a dairy farmer in Ephrata and Clay Townships from 1958 until 1979 and an owner/operator for Clay Trucking from 1979 to 1997.He was a member of Indiantown Mennonite Church where he was a chorister and taught Sunday school for many years. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of Stony Brook Hunting Camp, Lycoming County, PA. He was a member of the Word of Truth quartet and the Cheerful Anthems Men's Chorus and enjoyed playing guitar. Isaac and his family enjoyed annual trips to the mountains and the beach. Isaac will be lovingly remembered by his wife and children, Karen J, wife of Leonard S. Nolt of Lititz, Sandra E, wife of J. Larry Breneman of Washington Boro, Charlotte E, wife of Steven L. High of Denver, and Philip L, husband of Crystal A. Swartzentruber Eby of Ephrata; 9 grandchildren, Bradley, husband of Jennifer Nolt, Jennifer, wife of Duane Bollinger, Tyler and Krista Breneman, Amber, Stephanie and Matthew High, and Madeline and Erin Eby; 4 great grandchildren, Aubrie and Carter Bollinger, and Amanda and Sarah Nolt; and brothers, A. Lester Eby of Atglen,and John C. Eby of Ephrata.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Eileen M. Eby, brothers, Richard S. and Clyde S. Eby, and sister, Elta R. Martin.A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 P.M, Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Indiantown Mennonite Church, 255 Indiantown Rd, Ephrata, and on Thursday, May 1, 2008, from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by his funeral service at 10 A.M. with Revs. Stephen L. Martin, Jay Weaver and Paul Snader officiating. Interment will follow in the Indiantown Mennonite Cemetery, Clay Township.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Isaac's memory be sent to Global Family Program, Mennonite Central Committee, 21 S. 12th St, Akron, PA 17501.
