    I have entered Abraham knowing that Dieter Eby Newman could find no prrof of jacob Eby having any issues. But the headstone may, in the future, help researchers to unravel this mystery. IS this the correct headstone for this person with incorrect information on the back? This is up to researchers to determine.

    Found in Ancestry was the First US Swiss Census taken in 1790. In this census was documentation of a large headstone found in the Eby Cemetery, Monterey, Upper Leacock Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. On the front of this headstone it states the following:
    John N Eby, October 7th, 1841-April 24th 1908
    Clara F, his wife, April 15th, 1877
    J Victor, Their son, Dec 21th 1900-Oct 17th 1918
